2017 Fall Mini Sessions

This year's mini sessions were held at beautiful Water Works Park in Gladstone, Missouri. I was instantly captivated by its rolling hills and giant trees! I knew as soon as I drove through the park I HAD to shoot mini sessions there! (In spite of it being a really intense disk golf course!)

And wouldn't you know, the night before mini session day a severe thunderstorm hits Kansas City and rips its way right through Water Works park!! I arrive at the park on mini session day only to find what were once HUGE trees are now broken and tangled piles of limbs! My husband, being the amazing man he is, just starts picking up limbs and moving huge branches out of the way. In that moment we decided to just keep swimming (as Dori would say) and make it work! And boy am I glad we did! It was definitely an adventure, but well worth it in the end!
